Two major pillars in the industry, Phillips Pet Food & Supplies and the Hagen Group, announced an exclusive partnership at Superzoo which would allow for all of Hagen’s award-winning brands to be available to pet retailers exclusively through Phillips.
Over the last several months, the two companies brought their teams together to prepare for this launch and to ensure that existing customers would have a smooth transition, while preparing to support new customers that have shown an interest in adding the Hagen portfolio of brands to their store sets. Both organizations are excited to announce that three of the Hagen brands have officially begun shipping through Phillips distribution facilities across the country. The initial Hagen brands launched through Phillips distribution includes the award- winning Cattit line, Bionic Dog Toys and Hari bird products. The remainder of the Hagen portfolio which includes Fluval, Exo-Terra and Marina, which cater to the Aquatic retailers and hobbyists, are scheduled to begin shipping through Phillips’ East Coast and Midwest distribution facilities in December with the West Coast launch closely following in January of 2025.
This partnership brings together Phillips Pet’s expertise in distribution and Hagen’s award-winning pet brands, allowing both companies to serve retailers and pet owners more effectively across the country. Through this strategic alliance, Phillips Pet will be able to offer a wider range of high-quality pet care products across a range of categories to meet the growing demands of U.S. consumers. Hagen’s portfolio of products covers everything from cat, dog, bird and small animal to aquatics and reptile, including the aquatic hobbyists.
